  • This place was amazing!!! The girls on the phone and the guys who came out could not have helped us anymore!!! This review is long overdue, our moving situation was the stuff of nightmares. Last min our moving company said the rate increased almost $2k they were suppose to do everything for us and it was less than 2 weeks from our moving date, out of state no less.... Called up McCabes (who I talked to before) told them what I needed and they pretty much were knights in shining armor! The guys that came were amazing!!! They moved our over filled home into the truck with such speed and efficiency, not only did they save us space on our truck which we were billed per foot but they barely needed a full 2 hours. They were a pleasure to deal with at our house, respectful, understanding, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this service and company for whatever your needs are!!   • We had a wonderful experience using McCabe's for our move, and would recommend them to anyone else looking for movers. They came recommended by my boss and two different coworkers, so I felt fairly confident from the start. I did call six other moving companies to compare estimates and services. Of the four that eventually gave me an estimate, McCabe's pricing was around the average. What set them apart was the experience - someone always answered the phone and was knowledgeable enough to answer my questions. This wasn't the case with the other companies - I was sent to voicemail, stuck on hold, or told "I don't know" quite frequently when trying to get estimates from some of the other companies. It was easy to schedule a date and time for our move. On moving day, Scott, Cote, and Gerry arrived early in the morning, right on time. They got started quickly. While Scott went over the paperwork with us, Gerry and Cote took a look around the condo and got everything set up. They put down a pad to protect our floor from damage, which was really appreciated. Everything was moved efficiently, but without any risk of damage. They moved heavy, unwieldy pieces furniture with ease, despite the narrow stairs and tight corners. It was impressive to watch. They were careful to point out the few delicate items that would be safer moved by us, such as our computer towers and the contents of our bar, and gave us the option of putting those items in our car, or leaving them with the movers but risking damage. They made short work of our condo and, despite the four flights of stairs, had everything loaded up in a few hours. They arrived at our new home in good time, and went right to work unloading. Everything was carefully moved to the correct rooms. If a box wasn't clearly labeled, they were careful to ask where to put it. It ended up being a painless move. I've thanked my coworkers for the recommendation, and am happy to pay it forward in the future if anyone I know needs movers in the areas. I really couldn't be happier with the service that we received.

  • The woman I spoke to who scheduled me was able to help me move out ASAP on such short notice. Mark, Cote, and Tyler all arrived on time and moved out my entire apartment in amazingly fast time, and moved into my new apartment in equally fast time. They even got my 400 pound gun safe up to the second floor easily as well. Very nice guys, very professional.

The moving crew arrived this morning, on time, ready to work. And work, they did! So efficient! Very courteous and respectful of our building. HIGHLY recommend!!

  • I sure am not sorry I hired this company, It was an excellent choice, hey where priced reasonable, very flexible and easy to schedule, and what puts them over the top is their movers, I was tired just watching at what pace they where moving grabbing 3 to 4 boxes at a time, I don't think there is any room for improvement when it comes to efficiency. The Office right down to the 3 gentlemen that did the actual moving were very courteous and professional every step of the way. Thank You!!

  • Excellent experience with McCabes moving. They were right on the money with their estimate of how long the move would take, as a matter of fact they beat their quote by about two hours. Nothing was damaged from the move as they took great care with all of our belongings. Not one complaint as their quote was the cheapest and in the end it still wound up being cheaper than the other quotes we received. Ali and Irene were both excellent over the phone setting everything up. Can't say enough good things about Ali, as I called a lot with lots of questions and rescheduling and she was always there to assist. Would 100%% recommend McCabes moving if looking for movers. Best experience I've ever had with movers.
